Hope

Luke, the twins, and I went to Oak Ridge High to run on the track.The band was practicing in the parking lot, so we stopped for the babies to watch them. I noticed this really short girl playing the baritone, and thought, "she has to have Down Syndrome". Then we noticed the boy next to her kept giving her direction, and I knew she had to have DS. It's neat to see kids like our little Brookie out there in the world participating. At HEB there are two baggers that have DS too. I'm so thankful that we live in a community that allows them to do that!
