Sissy's Home!!!

After 7 days in the hospital we are home! Friday, Shelly & Larry came to visit us in the hospital. We went for a walk and let Sissy crawl around on the grass outside. She had been on .5 - .25 liters of Oxygen all day. After they left (around 6:15) I decided to do a little "test" to see if Brooke could make it 90 or above for 30-45 minutes without destating on room air. She past with flying colors! She was 91-92 which is normal for her. I unhooked her from the wall and she was pointing and yelling each time we walked by the door. She wanted out of there! We packed up and left as soon as possible. In the car Brooke danced and smiled (she stopped smiling Tuesday and would not talk to Luke or I while in the hospital). We headed over to my parents' house to pick up Caden and the dogs. Caden was so excited to see his mommy, daddy & sissy. He kept hugging and kissing everyone. Brooke wanted to hold Caden's hand in the car the entire ride home.
Of course Luke and I are still worried to death about her & pray that she is healing. She still isn't 100% and gets tired easily. If I had layed in a hospital bed for 7 days I would too. She's eating everything in site. She wants to drink, but is still choking on her bottles. I can only get about 3/4 of her typical amount down her. We're scheduled to see the pediatrician in 3 - 5 days, so if it's still going on we will address it then. Thank you all so much for your prayers! We're so glad to be home!
