What's New?

Brooke and Caden have been keeping Mommy and Daddy BUSY! Caden is using three to five word sentences and is using some interesting word combos. His new saying is "What's that noise?" Brooke is really into hand gestures. She loves to watch Dora and Elmo and gets a lot of her gestures from those shows. Her vocabulary is growing and we're sooo...excited! She has added "bird" and "eat". My camera is being repaired, so excuse the old, slow, and outdated camera and iphone pics that are below!

If there are shoes lying around, Caden is wearing them! It doesn't matter if they are mommy or daddy's.

Bye Bye Ba Bas. Brooke is now bottle free! Woo hoo! She uses either a straw cup or a sippy. We're working on open cup now.

We took the duo on their first trip to the zoo. Caden was so excited. He couldn't wait to see the "amuls" at the zoo. He talked about the "Graffs", "Elfunts", "Monies", and Zebras all day! When I put him to sleep after a long day, he asked if we were going to the zoo tomorrow.

Sissy could have cared less. She really enjoyed the birds...as in the crows, pigeons, and common city birds that were everywhere. Whenever we would get close to an exhibit and there were other kids around, she wanted to touch their hair. I would try to focus her on the animal, but she just wanted to people watch. Silly Sissy!

Mommy got to go to the Britney Spears concert with some friends. Thanks Daddy!!!
