Sissy Goes to School (well, for 30 minutes)!

Last week Brooke was screened to see if she qualifies for the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD). She did great at her screening, but since she is so young, she failed. So, she has to go back for a full two hour evaluation in two weeks. There is no way in heck that we're going to send Brooke to PPCD. We don't feel like medically she can handle it. It would cost us so much more money and time in the hospital than it is worth. After she graduates from ECI (when she turns 3) we will put her in private therapy. We want her to be screened just to see where she stands, and what areas the school district feels like she needs to work on. Caden was way more excited to go to school than Brooke was. He said he was scared when we walked in, but made himself at home as soon as he saw the toys. Technically he wasn't supposed to be there, but we don't think Brooke would have cooperated if he wasn't. Now that she's been we're sure she'll be ok to go back for her 2 hour evaluation by herself.
Brooke loves to drive her little car
Caden would rather fill his up with dirt and rocks!
