School Rules!

Enjoying our last days of summer before school starts

Caden started preschool at Paddington British Preschool last Monday. The first day of school ended shortly after the electiricty went out and the power company reported that it wouldn't be back on in that area for hours. In Texas heat, that's a long time witthout air conditioning! So, he was disappointed. Wednesday he went back  and loves it. His teacher is so shocked that he has never attended any kind of schooling before. She said he just blends right in and does what he's supposed to do. That's a huge relief for mommy!

Brooke started PPCD today. She will be in the public school system from age 3 - 21. Her schooling has not gone as smoothly as Caden's. :( Her spot for the morning class was filled last year when we denied schooling (due to her being so sick all the time). So, she was bumped this summer from am class to pm class without us knowing. Instead, a bus driver called the Friday before school started, telling us that she would be picked up for the pm class. She also missed meet the teacher because we dis enrolled her from school when she didn't go last year. Today she was almost put on a bus and our nanny stopped them.  What a mess! So after Luke talking to the principal and our teacher giving us a call we all feel a little better about the school and their capability of handling our 3 year old special needs baby.
