A boy and his dogs...

Caden loves dogs, balls, and transportation. He's saying soo...many words, and even using many 2 word combinations. His favorites are: "is it?", "sit down", & "see it?" Riding in the car is filled with Caden chattering away showing us "trak tor" (tractors), "co cas" (motorcycles or bicycles), buses, cars, trucks, people, etc. I've been working really hard at trying to get him to say "yes please." He has finally mastered yes, but still no please!
Brooke took 2 steps from the coffee table to the couch! Her physical therapist and I both agree that she CAN walk, but she just doesn't have the confidence yet. Our goal is for her to be walking before her 2nd b-day. She is pretty much average or slightly ahead as far as her skills for Down Syndrome children. She is a little behind in speech. Every week she is talking more and more though. She can say "hello", "book", "dada" and "bye bye." Most of these words are in "Brooke language." If you ask her "what does Lili say?" she will pant like a dog. So cute! She only uses one sign, "more."
