Race for the cure

Luke, Lisa, Phillip and I ran in the Race for the Cure 5K downtown on Saturday. Mandy, who's 9 months prego, was supposed to come with Jack to walk in the family run. She was having some stomach pains though! The terrain on the course consisted of hills, pot holes, sidewalks, medians, etc. To say the least, it was not an easy, flat course...and I sure can feel it today! Luke and my time were better than our previous 5K, and that was our goal. We all did great, even without running for 2 weeks thanks to hurricane Ike! We're hoping to do a "Turkey Trot" on Thanksgiving.
