Not much has changed. Brooke has been up and playing all day. She is still on the nasal canula, but her Oxygen is down to 1 liter. She mainly breathes out of her mouth. So now matter how much O2 you shove up her nose, it's not going to dramatically change her Oxygen saturation. So we did a little test to see if she was indeed a mouth breather by using an O2 mask. Well, we were right she does breathe mainly out of her mouth.
Yesterday afternoon she decided she no longer wanted to drink. I force fed her her bottle yesterday afternoon, but have not been successful today. She received a bolster of fluids this afternoon so she doesn't get dehydrated.
Caden is doing well, but is really missing his Sissy! He asks for her everyday. Please keep praying for a speedy recovery for Sweet Pea!
