What's new with these 2?

28 Months

Brooke had her annual ECI evaluation Monday, and her therapies were reduced to speech and developmental specialist. She lost her physical therapy because she is officially walking! She walks all day long, but crawls some too. She thinks that crawling is faster, and for now, it is. She's had some tumbles and falls within this past week and now has a black eye! Poor Sissy!
Here is a picture of Brooke, Caden (he just had to get in the pic too) and Julie with ECI. Julie has worked with Brooke on crawling and then walking for 2 years. She's going to be missed!

Caden is speaking in full sentences. He amazes us everyday with the crazy stuff he comes up with! He's got a great memory. Caden knows his colors and is working on counting. He loves to tell you the color of anything and everything. He's still really into "big trucks", tractors, and "choo choo trains".

Brooke loves to dance (well, wiggle), watch Dora, Diego, and Elmo, read books, and play with her babies. She loves to hug and kiss (and even makes the "Muah" sound). Mama is still her favorite person and has severe separation anxiety, but hopefully with having a nanny around 3 days a week she will unleash herself from Mama's leg!

Lili got her "summer cut" and Brooke didn't recognize her. She spent 5 minutes screaming in the car with her hands in her mouth at Li!

Now that it has finally stopped raining, we've been playing outside. Hopefully the mosquitoes won't be too bad. Houses in the neighborhood just before ours were flooded. Thank God ours was spared! The water got the closest we've ever seen (about 3-4 feet from our bedroom window). With all the Swine Flu scare, we won't be going out and about! We just can't take that risk with sister bear!
Our backyard which was a lake (pardon the fence, damaged from Ike...Luke is STILL working on!)

Way to go Brooke! Wow, I talked to my parents and they said it flooded in Katy, but it sounds like you guys got more rain where you are. Glad everyone is doing well.
