It's A....

Boy! Case Robert was born March 11 at 1:55 pm. He weighed 8 lbsb7 oz and was 21 inches long. We are so excited he is here! He is loved by his big brother and sister so much.

I went into labor at 3:30 am Sunday the 12th with contractions every 2 minutes. I was in a lot of pain with back labor. Our neighbor came to the rescue and sat at our house while we went to the hospital. My water broke shortly after 4:30 and I was given an epidural around 6. I gradually progressed until it was time to push around 12 noon. I pushed for 2 hours! We tried getting the baby to turn, he was face up and stuck on my pubic bone. I developed a high fever, the baby was stuck, I was starting to swell ( we won't go into that), and I couldn't feel anything from the waist down. My OBGYN came in and said the safest thing to do was perform an emergency c-section. I DID NOT want this, but had no choice. After the proceedure I was wheeled to my room and started to hemorage. I lost a lot of blood and was given blood transfusions. I still feel very weak from the blood loss, but hopefully that will go away soon.
